'A Cut Above Cooking with AngusPure' takes out yet another esteemed award

Delighted to receive the news that A Cut Above, cooking with AngusPure has recently won the silver medal (otherwise known as an IPPY) in the Australia/New Zealand Best Regional Non-Fiction Category at the Independent Publisher Book Awards for 2016.

The Independent Publisher Awards, which started in 1996, have been designed to recognise the titles published by independent authors and publishers.

The award is testament to the work Gerhard, with assistance from his wife Henri, put into completing and publishing this, his second book.

A Cut Above, cooking with AngusPure is a traditional cookbook with a twist, recognising the commitment of those that raise and produce a quality product, in this instance AngusPure beef, the book also tells the story of 6 different Angus breeders.

Gerhard’s commitment to this project saw him creating and testing all the AngusPure recipes, food design and photography, visiting six New Zealand Angus cattle studs, photographing and interviewing the families, designing and publishing the book.

A Cut Above, cooking with AngusPure also won the 2015 Worlds Best Meat Cookbook at the International Gourmand Cookbook Awards.
