AngusPure is pleased to announce our new export brand, AngusPure Special Reserve.
For the past ten years, we have been working tirelessly to develop the #1 beef brand in New Zealand - AngusPure NZ.
While we are very proud of our achievements to date, we do not wish to sit on our laurels. You may already be aware that we have been working on developing the specifications for our new export brand, AngusPure Special Reserve. The official launch for AngusPure Special Reserve was held on Friday 4th November 2016 at Rathmoy Lodge in Hunterville. We had 200 special guests in attendance and the evening was a great success.
AngusPure Special Reserve has three major points of difference from the current AngusPure beef brand.
1. A marbling requirement which guarantees consistent juiciness and flavour.
2. Full traceability throughout the supply chain.
3. Added premiums for farmer producers.
To launch our new brand into the market, AngusPure has partnered with 43 Angus studs from around New Zealand to aid us financially in the task of putting Territory Managers in both the North and South Islands. The representatives will be dealing with our Angus beef farmers on a face to face level.
AngusPure ambassador Jess Pryles, a professional hardcore carnivore flew out from Austin, Texas for the event. Jess held a beef masterclass, where she cooked AngusPure tenderloins in a Pit Barrel smoker and demonstrated the reverse sear cooking technique. A celebrity in her own right, we are privileged to have her associated with AngusPure Special Reserve.
